Prosperity Fund - Brazil Programme

The FCO’s Prosperity fund will focus on promoting sustainable global growth and, in particular, will be consistent with the UK’s development objectives of promoting sustainable development and improving welfare.

Support for an open global economy, avoiding dangerous climate change and enhancing energy security will all be important areas for this fund. It builds on the progress made by the old SPF Low Carbon High Growth Programme.

The Prosperity Fund operates in 14 priority countries. Brazil is a priority for this funding. All projects submitted to the Prosperity fund in Brazil should meet ODA criteria: the direct beneficiary of the project must be Brazil.

Bidding round I for year 2011-2012 is now open. Check out how to apply and find bidding forms and guidance on the site of the British Embassy in Brasilia - click here .
