Thanks for being a friend
Today, July 20th, we celebrated the Fiendship Day. The date was set by Argentinian Ernesto Enrique Febbaro to mark the arrival of man on the moon on July 20, 1969. He sent about four thousand letters to several countries and in several languages in order to establish the Friendship Day. Febbaro saw the arrival of man on the moon as "a demonstration that if a man get together with his fellows, there is no impossible goals." Gradually the date has been adopted in other countries and today, all around the world, the 20th of July is the Friendship Day, when people declare their friendship to each other, in theory.
I consider myself a collector of the greatest treasure that a human being can have: the friendship. I keep this treasure chest on the left side of my chest, the place we call heart.
At this moment I tenderly hug all my friends: present or distant, real or virtual, notorious or unknown, those who walk among us and those who departed of this life. My fraternal hug to all!

Decisions
There are cycles in our lives when we have to make decisions, and this is not always easy. Great men do not escape the responsibility of making big decisions.. it´s a risk we have to take from time to time.
It is not easy to decide at a crossroads, which way to go: the only certainty is that each path will lead us to an unknown place.
One thing you can be sure: even if we take the decision we believe it´s the right one, there will be those who dare to criticize, without even try to walk in our footsteps. It´s not easy to make decisions, but the great men, with the humility to recognize the risk of them, take them without fear.

Tribute to the victims of Flight TAM3054
Exactly four years ago, on July 17th 2007, Brazil and the world witnessed the most shocking air crash in Brazilian soil up to date.
At 17:16h, TAM flight 3054 took off from Salgado Filho airport in Porto Alegre, bound to the international airport of Congonhas, in the heart of the city of São Paulo, landing at 18:51h. In a fatality not yet completely clarified, the aircraft turned left off the runway, crossing Washington Luiz Avenue and crashing into the building of TAM Express located opposite the airport.
In this accident, 199 lives were interrupted abruptly, 187 on the aircraft and 12 were on the ground. Each of these people had a life story to be written ... dreams, desires and projects ...
It could happen to any of us, I flew this same route twice and I know dozens of people who often do. Therefore it is necessary to remember and pay our tribute to those who died in this tragic accident. And also to serve as a warning to the airport authorities and airlines in order to implement the necessary measures to avoid other fatalities.
In the fourth anniversary of this tragedy, I dedicate my prayers to the victims, and to their families and friends, I ask to our Heavenly Father to console the irreparable pain of losing a loved one.
It´s a lesson to be learned: never miss the opportunity to show people around us, how important they are in our lives. Never leave for tomorrow the opportunity to say "I love you" to those who really matter to us.

Politique

Answering Machine [poem]
We can't do it, my love!
We can't hurt each other anymore
We can't see sunshine together
Because there's no light
There're no stars in the sky
There's no rainbow after it rains...
Please, be sensible my love
We can t do it anymore.
Look after yourself
And don't try to do anything silly
Just because we are not together.
We can't do it
We are not together...
I can't be close to you
And I have my reasons for that
I'm a different person
And you're a different person as well
But since I've arrived here...
I don't know
Maybe my behavior has changed.
What I would like to say to you is...
We can't do it
I can't be close to you...
Our love
Our feelings...
It's not going to work.
You know
My feelings for you are real
They are genuine
They are original
But it's not going to work...
I'm so sorry !
We can't do it !
We can't be together !
I hope you pick up this message
From your answering machine...
And be able to forgive me.
